Celebrities Stay Here!
Perhaps it's our accommodations, great location and close proximity to "Seacrets" and "Fagers Island" that has quite a few celebrities staying with us during the season. In 2008 we had an impressive list of celebrities who stayed with us: Joe Frazier, Bo Bice, Donnie Vansant, Bill Haley, and Rick Derriger. Some of the more notable bands that stayed with us in 2008 were "Gin Blossoms", "38 Special", "Bill Haley & the Comets", "Skid Row", and "Mr. K's Motown Review". As a footnote, we respect the privacy of all of our celebrity guests both before and during their stay. But after they're gone, we sure do like to bragg about the fact that "guess who I met yesterday......?"

Bill Haley, if my memory serves me correctly, he died in February of 1981. My my, some bright staff we have at the Sea Bay....
ReplyDeleteYou know now that I think about it, Bill Haley stayed that night in Room 213, and the other names on the room list were Stevie Ray Vaughn and Ricky Nelson. I didnt think anymore about it, but we dont have a Room 213.......Wierd!!!!!
